چکیده
Demands for higher production and consumer demand healthier food have encouraged intensive research alternative animal growth promoters in recent years. Research trends are focused on the development of new products enriched with feed additives to improve health enhancing production. Many these compounds unstable presence light, air, water, or high temperatures need be protected during processing, storage, application. By encapsulatied microparticles, from harmful external influences, their stability functionality not diminished. Microencapsulation technology is used protect payload bioavailability by controlled targeted delivery digestive tract. It particularly suitable addition ruminant’s nutrition, because correct choice microparticle material allows release small intestine, rumen. With proper use, formulations an effective tool nutrition that delivers nutrients and/or drugs a specific site at desired rate. The paper summarizes laboratory studies application microencapsulation feeding ruminants monogastric animals. Numerous results encapsulated shown positive effect health, increased productivity without negative effects final product, environmental protection.

A total of 150 weanling pigs [(Landrace × Yorkshire) × Duroc, BW = 6.76 ± 0.61 kg] were used in a 42-d trial to investigate the effects of dietary Aviplus-S supplementation on growth performance, fecal score, fecal moisture, fecal pH, and blood profiles. Pigs were randomly assigned to 1 of 5 treatments according to BW. Dietary treatments were NC, basal diet (without antibiotics); PC, NC + 39 mg...

Feed additives are largely used in beef cattle diets to improve performance and reduce risks of nutritional disorder diseases like acidosis and timpanism. However, some countries tend to ban the use of ionophore in animal nutrition due to the risk of resistance of some microorganisms. Therefore, alternatives to non-antibiotic additives must be studied. The objective of this work was to investig...

Marine algae have recently emerged as a new exciting source of biofuel. Our objective was to determine effect of supplemental defatted algal biomass from biofuel production on biochemical indicators of protein metabolism in plasma of weanling pigs. A total of 27 weanling pigs (BW = 10.69 ± 0.22 kg) were divided into 3 groups (n = 9/group), and fed a corn-soybean meal basal diet (BD), the BD plu...

A total of 384 pigs was used to evaluate the effects of benzoic acid supplementation on nitrogen balance of pigs compared to antibiotics and organic acids. Pigs were weaned at 21 d of age and fed 7 diets for 5 wk based on 3 phase feeding program following nutrient requirements from NRC. There were 8 replicates per treatment and 8 pigs per pen. Treatments were NC: negative control without any su...
